When and why should my child be insured?Future Insurability, and a gift that will last their lifetime.
on the rise, and this is not going to change. Everyday in the media you hear stories of children with diabetes, childhood cancer, autism, obesity issues and these are just a few. In my own life experience I have seen close friends and family members children fall ill to these diseases. I even met one child this year who suffered a stroke at the young age of eight. This floored me when I heard her speak, since I had never come across a child so young having this happen to them. One charity that I can think of off the top of my head that is proactive in helping raise awareness about childhood obesity is the Heart and Stroke Foundation. If you click on the link you will see some very interesting facts. So when should you look at insurance for your child and what kind?As soon as your child is born, you should contact your advisor and look into your options. There are different ways and types of insurance policies out there for your child. Depending on what your needs and wants are for your child will depend on the type of policy your purchase. The cost will vary as well depending on what type of coverage you need and want. There are plans that are just straight life insurance plans that can have riders added to them to allow your child to have guaranteed insurability in the future. There are plans that cover childhood and adult illnesses that will pay out a lump sum should your child be diagnosed with one of them. There are plans that can act as a savings as well as insuring your child. The options are endless, and can be confusing, my job is to listen to what your needs and wants are and to find a plan that will suit those needs and wants. If you are a new parent, a grandparent, or have a child that is not insured and you want to explore your options please contact me for an no obligation consultation. |

"I didn't think I could get insurance since I had been declined before. Cindy found out the reasons for my declines and then searched for a provider that would cover me. I now have a peace of mind knowing my family will be protected. Thanks Cindy for all your hard work." Resident of Barrie |
